Another big statement from Giulianova’s own Edoardo D’Addazio, who scored his fourth consecutive professional win by stopping Croatia’s Sandro Stanic with a first-round technical knockout in Giulianova. A packed, high-energy night at the PalaCastrum confirmed the rise of “Hammer” and fueled his ambitions on the national stage.

Sponsorship and the crypto breakthrough

Professional boxing comes with significant costs and, especially in the lighter weight classes, securing strong sponsorship can be challenging. For 26-year-old D’Addazio, a breakthrough came from the cryptocurrency world: he was announced as the first Italian professional boxer supported in Bitcoin, thanks to the involvement of a well-known media group in the sector.

The initiative was reported by Tjr Media, which also announced the bout scheduled at the PalaCastrum. D’Addazio described the idea as a natural fit for his generation and highlighted how solutions like this can help fighters cover the real costs of a pro career.

The boxing show began around 5:00–5:30 PM, hosted by Manuela Cermignani, and was also covered by RAI 3 regional TV cameras.

The main sponsor of the night was Criptovaluta.it. Toward the end of the event, Gianluca Grossi (Tjr Media) came on stage for the symbolic presentation of D’Addazio’s Bitcoin purse, a moment that marked a first in Italy.

In the ring, D’Addazio delivered once again. In the international bout, he set the pace and imposed his power, closing the fight with a first-round TKO over Sandro Stanic. The win secured his fourth straight professional victory and kept his upward momentum toward a future challenge for national honors.

After the bout, Edoardo thanked the fans and everyone who supported him through a difficult period:
